I
grew up in Suffern, NY and attended
Rensselaer
Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY, where I graduated with a BS degree in
communication.
I have lived in New Jersey, California,
Tennessee, South Carolina, Massachusetts, Connecticut
and currently resides in the beautiful town of New
London, New Hampshire with my husband David, two children,
Ethan and Kendra, an Au Pair named
Iwi, two Rottweilers,
and a cat named Mimi.
Currently,
I'm in my second semester as an MFA Candidate in Writing for Young People at
Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
I
occasionally contract for technical writing
assignments when the right
opportunities arise and eventually plan on going back to work full
time.
But
for now I'm concentrating on my love of writing for
children. My main characters always
sneak up on me and take me by storm. I love when one of
them starts whispering to me, their voice gets stronger
and louder the longer I ignore them. Until one day, they
scream at me and I know it's time to pay attention to
them and write their story.
Currently
I'm working on middle grade and young adult novels.
